English now

As there are a couple of new friends a made here that want to read my diary as well, I'll try to write it in English.
Last week we saw Queen Elizabeth at the university, but she was 100 miles away from me. I only noticed that she was tiny and she was wearing a red head. Some of my friends here carried the flag of their countr. They talked with the queen for a few moments and were able to make good pictures. I'm a bit jealous, but mostly I had the feeling we were in the zoo watching monkeys. All these people coming to see only one person, very odd!

All I did this weekend was working on my essays. And I've only finished one. I'm supposed to write four essays here, but I don't think I'll menace that. Three is the maximum I guess. Luckily I had a really good night on friday. We went to Level 2 (my flatmates, and other friends) and got really pissed. When we came back home one of my flatmates had a 'serious' conversation with me about how bad he wanted to shag Desiree. Didn't happen though and that's probably the best for relations in our flat.
One of the guys got banned from all the cafes on campus, because his friend kicked in a toilet door. There was a bouncer on that toilet, so that wasn't too good for him.

This weekend my cousin Marieke will visit me. That will be a lot of fun! We're going to Camebridge on saturday and on sunday we're celebrating Sinterklaas. Speaking of which, yesterday I received my Sinterklaaspresent :) Got a big box of Sinterklaascandy from Desiree and Gijs. That was so cool!!! Now I feel a bit more at home with my room filled with it.
