Crazy neighbors: still crazy.
Nice neighbors: still nice.

Good news: Dad sat down with the nice neighbors last night and let them know we had no idea the crazy neighbors were going to act the way they did, and apologized if the situation had stressed them in any way. They said they knew it wasn't us causing the issues and everything is fine between us. He let them know our current plans to do the new driveway and etc., then took them some fresh veggies from the garden. Life moves on and everything will get sorted out in the end.
