Chapter 4

That was weird. So weird. Meeting Akanishi Jin there made him feel weird. It was no longer the same. He just couldn't look at his doctor the same.  He wasn't the same. Just one glance at the Akanishi Jin who could party and have friends made him feel all wrong. It wasn't as if Jin was forbidden from having friends and a life of his own but knowing that made Kazuya a tad jealous. So his doctor's life didn't revolve only around his patients but if it didn't, why did he have to buy him that bracelet?
As much as he loved it, he also hated it. It gave him hope for something, what he didn't knew. Was he hoping that his relationship with Akanishi would go beyond the one of doctor-patient? But then again, why would he? He had never been in love with a guy and never fell for strangers so why now? If he'd have to describe his feelings towards the new person in his life he'd know how to. It was a bit of anger, a bit of fear, a somewhat touch of appreciation and a bit of commodity, and then again, a bit of possessiveness . Hm...maybe it was love. If love at first sight existed, it wasn't his case. He fell the moment he got that bracelet.
Damn he bracelet. Why did he have to have the object of his new discovered feelings always around? But he didn't want tot take it off. He wouldn't.  It was important . More important then probably any other object he had.  It was important because Jin gave it to him.

All that went through his mind before finally managing to go to sleep but he couldn't sleep for long. Only a couple of hours later he had to wake up and go to work. Work. Such a dangerous place.
He almost cut half of his fingers off because his mind kept taking him to the Relaxation Center. Yeah, he forgot about that. Lies. He didn't. He knew from before going to sleep that the next day he'd have a therapy session with the one who couldn't leave him alone. He could only hope that the baka doctor wasn't going to do anything else that could cause him a heart attack. That was too much to ask off.
The moment he stepped into the center, he was told Akanishi was waiting for him at a restaurant and he discovered he has to run all the way there otherwise he wouldn't make it. Why in the world therapy had to be done at a restaurant was beyond his understanding. Nonetheless, he went.

A beautiful sight and smell awaited him. Akanishi was cooking something only he knew what and was smiling so happily that Kazuya's heart skipped another beat.
"Stop doing this..." he thought while getting close to the other, not knowing exactly how was he going to feel when  he'd get to close to the man who could make him lose it.
" Ah! Kazu-chan!!  Akanishi smiled even more brightly, waving with the spoon he was holding, managing to get some sauce on his face.
" Idiot. Don't wave that around.." chuckled Kamenashi, not disturbed one bit by the the outfit the other was wearing. The same white coat, the same geeky glasses and an apron on top. From the very sexy and cool one from the club to the stupid looking one when at work it wasn't much. Akanishi could easily pull it off.
" Kazu-chan! Today...we shall cook! " the other announced.
" Cook? For therapy?" he opened wide his eyes.
" Yes. The info we got on you said you are quite a good cook so I figured I should try it out too. "
"Wait... you want me to cook just so that you could eat my cooking?" he stared even more.
Jin only nodded and smiled again, putting some spaghetti on the table next to him. That was it. Kazuya snapped then.
" Are you fucking around with me? I payed all that money just to cook for you? What's wrong with you and how... " he started angry, ready to even throw a punch if it was necessary. He really wanted to speak his mind but his thoughts went all blank when Akanishi's arms surrounded him and hugged him tight.
That warmth felt really good. Too good and it made him comfortable just as much as it made his heart beat in pain.
" Can you please trust me?" he asked, tightly holding Kamenashi to his chest, holding his head with one hand, ruffling it while at i.
Trust. Why would he? Something was wrong with that doctor if he thought that was what therapy meant. Wasn't it supposed to be talking or something like that? Why do so many things that would have closed the space between them? If they were just patient and doctor then they should have acted like such. Things like this made Kazuya confused and not sure how he should treat the other.
At the same time, Akanishi was suffering a bit. All his patients had the same outburst at some point in time but he had thought that Kazu-chan would have felt different.  That also made him remember a talk he had with Ryo sometime before.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" It's not fair... " Akanishi pouted, stretching his hands.
" There's nothing we can do about it until they notice it by themselves. " replied the other.
" But, Ryo...until then...they think of us as swindlers or something. "
" Bakanishi, this is our job. We show them that relaxation can be found even in the things they do daily as long as they change things a bit. That's why we do so many stupid or normal things that people do. To show them it too can be relaxing. That they don't need to go to Hawaii to feel relaxed. "
" Eh?! But I want to go to Hawaii! " Jin pouted again, looking somewhat upset.
" Geez, if you don't believe in what you do...how in the world will they?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

At the time he didn't really think about it but it was true. If he wanted Kazu-chan to believe in him he'd first have to believe in himself. Still, a bit of trust wouldn't have hurt.
" Can you please trust me?" he asked again, this time, lifting up Kazuya's face  to look him in the eyes.
Kamenashi got lost for a couple of seconds. Why was his tone so sweet? It made his heart melt way to easily and he didn't like that. He was fragile in front of Jin. Better said, vulnerable.
" Fine..." he mumbled, trying to distance himself. " You have until the end of today to prove me you are not swindling me." he added,  diverting his attention towards the ingredients on the table.
Olive oil, minced garlic, fresh basil , diced fresh ripe tomatoes, salt and pepper, parmesan cheese and spaghetti for the pasta.
" Uhm...What are you planning to do?" he asked confused, eyes fixated on the tomatoes he so much hated.
" Pasta with tomatoes sauce" he innocently replied, in fact knowing Kazuya hated tomatoes.
" In Pasta with tomatoes sauce there are tomatoes, right?"
" Of course, silly. It's with tomatoes sauce after all " he giggled, knowing too well what he was doing.
" I hate tomatoes " Kazuya spatted, pouting for the first time since he meet his doctor.
" So cu~te !" Akanishi went kya again, hugging his patient then releasing him only to pick a tomato up. " It's actually very yummy"  he added, shoving it in Kazuya's face. This time, Kamenashi whimpered a bit and took a step back. Why did he hate tomatoes anyway?
" Come on. Let's just cook. We'll see at the end, k?" the doctor asked, ready to mix all the ingredients.
" Pasta...with...to-ma-toes..." he muttered, getting the pasta ready.
" I love pasta for two reasons " started Akanishi. " One, it comes from the country of love: Italia , second: it's so easy to cook! " he smiled, getting the sauce ready, pronouncing Italia as the Italians do.
" I thought the country of love was supposed to be France. " replied Kazuya, seriously trying to stay away from the tomatoes.
" Nope. It's Italy. Trust me. Definitely Italy. " he smirked, putting everything on the plates, waiting to taste them. " Now...let's sit down." he offered, showing a table with two chairs that was already prepared for them.
Kazuya reluctantly sat down and waited. That place looked so good and popular that he couldn't help himself wonder how in the world did Akanishi made it possible for only the two of them to be there and use the restaurant's kitchen in the process. That was when it hit him. Renting that place surely cost more than he had payed for his therapy so wasn't the Relaxation Center at lost because of it? Like that, they would have gone bankrupt before anyone could say Bakanishi. Or was it that Akanishi rented it? On his own expense? Now that thought really made his heart beat faster and faster.
" Open wide, Kazu-chan! " Akanishi laughed, holding a fork wrapped in pasta close to Kamenashi's mouth.
" Seriously now...I hate tomatoes. " he said quickly, trying to escape.
" Why?" came the serious question of the doctor.
" I don't know. Don't you have things you hate?"
" Yeah...but I know why I hate them. Come on, just one bite. " he urged Kazuya.
Kamenashi shook  his head, refusing by all means to ingest anything that has tomatoes in it.
" Ne....when you go eat pizza, do you use ketchup? " Akanishi asked, truly curious.
" Yeah..."
" Well, that has tomatoes in it. " he grinned, awaiting for the moment.
Kazuya was shocked so he just instinctively opened his mouth, gasping at the new discovery. Jin took the chance and shoved the food inside his patient's mouth, making Kamenashi stand up and almost choke.
This time Akanishi panicked. He stood up immediately and ran all the way to Kazuya, patting his back, trying to help him not suffocate with the food.
He got glared at. A serious glare for that matter. If looks could have killed, that would have been the day of his continuous 10 deaths. He gulped for himself and then took some water, first wanting to drink it himself to calm his nerves and then handing it to Kazuya who was still having problems.
" Sorry, Kazu-chan. " he pleaded, making the other glare at him again.  He was kinda afraid now.
" I thought I said I hate tomatoes." he muttered, ready to strangle Akanishi.
" Now this is silly. You can barely taste them because the taste of the other ingredients is really strong and you make such a fuss. You're more of a crybaby than I am " he hissed, taking a full bite of the paste he prepared.
" It's tomatoes sauce. It will freaking taste like tomatoes, dimwit! Kazuya replied just as annoyed, sitting down, not sure what to do after the sudden argument.
" Don't call me a dimwit, princess. You are way too fussy about food. No wonder you are so skinny." he fought back.
"  Oh, so now I am skinny. Not that you should know, I happen to like steak. A lot! " he shouted back, taking another gulp of his water.
"  Really? To watch it maybe. Bet you don't even know how to cook it. "
And that turned on a switch inside Kazuya's head. He stood up once again, spin around on his heals and went straight into the kitchen, looking for the ingredients he needed .
Akanishi let him do his thing until Kamenashi picked a certain thing in his hands.
" Those are tomatoes " he gladly pointed out, smirking inside-out.
Kazuya just stopped and looked surprised at his hands. He always put that when making steak. And that meant...wait...!  He glared at Akanishi but that only made Jin laugh. He then threw the steak and took a shrimp. He kinda liked shrimps.
" Now come on, sit and eat some pasta and then we'll have a bit of your steak too. With the serving too. " he added, holding out his right hand for the other to take and go back. Kazuya ignored him and furiously set down, pouting some more, not sure if he should be angry on astonished.

Akanishi just smiled and continued trying convincing the other to take at least one bite of the paste he made. It was kinda useless since Kamenashi Kazuya turned out to be quite a stubborn character.
" I'll make you eat it one way or another " he threatened at last, getting tired of trying. The food had already gotten cold and it didn't tasted as good as it should have.
" I'd like to see that. "
Akanishi sighed and put the fork down, much to Kazuya's surprised. He never thought his doctor was going to give up so quick, especially after a threat like that. Truthfully, he enjoyed arguing with Akanishi because it made him loosen up and get rid of some frustrations he had build in. Actually, it was quite amusing. He actually like it.
" Fine. Okay, back to therapy. As you know.. there is such a thing as group therapy but...! " he stopped, pointing with his finger. " Since I'm afraid you'd might eat the head off some of my patients, it might be best to bring your friends with you. "  he explained. He was being a bit of a tease but he couldn't help himself. It was Kazu-chan's fault.
" Now that sounds like therapy, swindler." Kazuya commented.
" Right. So...Friday at 7 we, your friends and mine will go bowling. " he finished, making the other twitch a bit.
"  Bowling ? " he raised an eyebrow, still glaring.
"  Yes "
" I can go bowling by myself, thank you. Why can't we just have a therapy at the clinic?" It was actually a pretty good question. Beside the day they painted that room, also the day he got his so beloved turtle bracelet, they never spent anytime inside the clinic.
" It will be more comfortable like that. White wall make people think of hospitals. We're not hospitals. We are supposed to make people feel relaxed and that's why we choose places like this. Places that can relax people. "
It made sense. It was true. White walls did made people think of hospitals and also made them be more shy and unwilling to share their thoughts. For the first time, something Bakanishi did and said made sense. Kazuya silently approved of the explanation and agreed it was a really good one. But then again, even if the places did help relax , the baka doctor was just putting the stress back.
" Ok. Friday at 7 ." he spoke out loud, making Akanishi smile again.
He stood up, ready to leave, turned around and started walking without seeing Jin taking another bite full of sauce from his pasta. The only moment he stopped was when his arm was grabbed and his body was pulled back and turned around.
Jin's left hand closely held his head while the right one was holding his own, the same one he had the turtle bracelet on, their bodies were stuck to each other and their lips connected as one. Kazuya first muttered something without making himself heard then slowly started giving in. Akanishi's lips tasted weird, way to weird but still good. A bit too salty and a bit too sweet and that fresh touch was probably the tomato he hated, but if felt good. Before knowing, his free hand positioned itself on Akanishi's waist and he slowly responded to the kiss.
He slowly and carefully took in all the food he was giving, tasting in the middle of it the full lips of the one who initiated the kiss. Jin was good at it. Kissing that is. Only bits of air entered his mouth when their lips parted, after that his upper lips was gently caressed by two other tasty lips and finally, he felt the tip of Akanishi's tongue, licking the upper part of his mouth.
" See? You do like tomatoes !" Akanishi smirked, licking his own lips, turning around to the plate where the rest of the pasta was in order to pick it up.
Kazuya was numb, he couldn't actually move and yet he was licking his own lips, trying to get back a bit of the taste that suddenly disappeared.
" I told you I'll make you eat it one way or another. Here, one more bite " the doctor smiled again, ready to feed his patient.
" Idiot! " the other shouted, suddenly snapping out of his trance.  He left Jin  with a surprised look on his face , unconsciously still licking his lips. He ran all the way back home and stopped only when getting close to the stair case.
His heart was beating so fast that he didn't know what to do. Maybe he was going to have a heart attack after all. His friends were there and saw him.
Of course they were surprised by the look on Kazuya's face but even more by the red lips he had.
" Kame? What's wrong?" Koki asked, looking at Tat-chan.
" Ah...Friday...therapy...you're supposed to come too " Kazuya rushed all the way up, not daring to look at his friends.
" Ah..okay." both replied as one.
" Why are your lips red?" Koki asked then, looking up to the one who almost got to his apartment door.
" Ate tomatoes today!" Kamenashi shouted, slamming the door behind him.
Both his friends looked at each other and shrugged. " But he hates tomatoes!" both said, imagining Akanishi Jin had something to do with that.
Kazuya closed the door and then leaned on it, suddenly covering his mouth. It tasted good. What part of it he didn't know but it tasted good. What really  shocked him was something else.
He and Akanishi Jin kissed. For the first time, they kissed. A kiss.
