Yesterday I escaped for a couple of hours to do some shopping (when's the last time i was at the store?? I can't remember! @_o;;). Boston/Cambridge was eerily traffic-free-- the trip down Prospect Street took like, 2 minutes! Like a real road, not the expedition it usually is! So I'm wandering around Harvard Sq. (yeah, I know, I figured since I was out a quick trip into TokyoKid and Million Year Picnic for comics wouldn't hurt, right? :D ) and there's hardly anyone around and it's beginning to feel a leetle creepy. Except... and here's where I got a clue... except for these huge knots of people thonged in front of open-front cafes where there's a television blaring...

Ha! Boston shut down for the World Cup! The streets weren't THAT clear for the World Series!

The next several weeks on tonework for Dramacon 2 are going to be grueling. But as tough as this deadline is for me it's NOTHING compared to what Svet is going through. You know, 'Comics Creator' is one of the most punishing jobs ON THE PLANET. I mean really, I keep waiting for it to be documented on one of those reality shows like World's Most Mind-Numbingly Demanding Job, right next to swordfish boat captain and mega-ton nuclear weapons technician.
