- Am back from SoFla.
- I was totally watching when the parade Rick Rolled the nation. It had started to lose it's funny factor but now it's been redeemed. That was genius.
- I ate so much fucking food, I cannot even tell you. Also, since my family is on a diet, most of the leftovers we brought home came back up to NYC with me. \o/
- I went to Macy's to sign my paperwork today so I could start training next week. I knew it was a bad idea for them to bring me in on Black Friday but they did anyway. I was right. I was able to talk to the department manager and she liked me, but when it was time to fill out paperwork, the HR guy was no where to be found. So now I have to wait for them to bring me in AGAIN at the beginning of next week.
- Because of the above circumstance, what I didn't want to happen is in fact happening. I'm spending time unemployed. Although it'll only be a few days, I can't afford to spend any time without work. My last day at Target has now passed and I probably won't actually start real non-training work at Macy's until the week of the 7th. Lovely. /sarcasm
- Since I didn't have to work this weekend it sucks that I have to be up here. I could be spending quality time with friends and family in Florida right now but instead I'm by myself in NY. Kristi is still out of town, Hannah and Lis are out of town and I have no idea about the rest of my friends. I'll probably call around tomorrow but I'd be willing to bet they aren't here either. Not like I have money to hang out anyway. SIIIIIIGH.
- Am very aware that I need to see about a million doctors about a million little (sometimes mid sized) things. It's a headache and I don't want to but I'm going to have to.
- I bought P.S. I Love You and Juno today at Target. Even without having money, you can't resist when they only cost 5.98. It was worth it.
- My mom bought me a bunch of stuff while I was in Florida. I now have new brown boots, a few long sleeved tops, and a sweater dress. =)
- The best news? Best Buy FINALLY put the Sex and the City Series Collection on sale for 99.99. I've been waiting for this day for about a year since one of you flisties mentioned getting it at that price. I took the handful of BB giftcards I'd been hoarding from random holidays and drove to the nearest location that still had some in stock. The price after tax was 105 and change. The price I paid out of pocket after using all my giftcards? 25 mother fucking dollars! HELL TO THE YES. I cannot say how happy I was and still am about this. I've only wanted the whole series since FOREVER and the box set since it friggin came out! But now I have it and it makes everything better. \o/
