To this I say, WHY. NOT. ME? I seriously can't wait until I'm making enough money to buy lingerie without the immediate guilt feeling that follows, accompanied by it's best friend, the "Who are you buying this for, Miss Optimistic?" question. Fuck you, rational thought. Fuck you, lack of money. Fuck you, economy. Dammit dammit dammit.
In other news, we have interviews at Target Thursday morning. This is what we've been reduced to. Two college graduates with complete and total availability and we're applying at Target. Fuck. Not to say I don't want the job. At this point, anything'll do. It's just sad to me that I should be making a fuck ton more than what I'll probably make. Blarg. Applied at M.A.C. today. They had me (well, us but Kristi didn't have a resume so she couldn't apply) show up in full makeup and all black with a resume just to fill out an application. I expected a few more questions at least but all she asked was, "So you're from Florida?" and that was it. Hopefully she'll call to set up an interview. If I can make the same amount at M.A.C. as at Target, I'd rather take the former. I know that's not very practical as Target offers a wider range of products but hey, I'm just being honest. I fucking love makeup. Especially good makeup.
We got a record player/tape deck/radio/cd player today (Ri, like the one you have) courtesy of my credit card which my dad will pay for. At least for the time being. It was on sale so I wanted to get it now and I'll pay him back as I have the money available to me. First thing I listened to was Billy Joel =D Of course.
Tomorrow needs to be productive. Again. Today was pretty good. Alright well, I'm off. Gonna go bead some stuff, maybe sketch some designs. As long as I'm not working, I might as well start exercising my creative muscles again. I mean I have the time, so why not? Ha.
Last thing. I can't quite decide what to be for Halloween. It needs to be something I can do primarily with stuff I already have or HELLA cheap thrifty things. I was thinking perhaps a Pin Up? PLEASE give me more ideas. The more original, the better. Thanks!
