"Or as I like to call it, the stupid idiot room full of jerks..."

An update of annoying things in life, cut and pasted directly from
devochka_bloom's (aka kristi's) lj because I'm too lazy to type everything over.

"Uh ok, so you probably need to know our living arrangements, to better understand the situation. If you already know, you can skip this whole paragraph. We asked Dee's uncle Hector if we could stay with him for a while, until we could secure jobs and move into the city. Hector stays with his daughter Denise, her husband Phil, and their 4-year-old daughter Madison. The house was Phil's parents, they gave it to him or something so now he pays the mortgage. We were under the impression that we had 2 - 4 weeks to get ourselves situated, Dee thinks Hector told them 4 - 6 weeks. Regardless, we thought we at least weren't going to start hearing complaints for at least another week. Our job hunting situation is crappy, and our funds are dwindling. I would love nothing better than to find a job and GTFO, particularly because (and those of you who know me will agree) although she's a sweetheart most of the time, children can be bothersome to me, not to mention their crazy dog and the fact that I just want my own place to chill out at, with as few disruptions as possible. Anways...

We thought it was a little strange that Hector offered to come pick us up tonight, seeings how we've done just fine the last couple days getting to and from the library. So we're on our way home, in the car, then Hector says, "Well guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think it's time to start looking for apartments." Evidently, Phil put it ever so delicately to Hector today (quite the opposite apparently, if you caught my sarcasm there) that we have to start looking for apartments. Dee and I have racked our brains trying to think of exactly what it is that we did wrong to deserve such unexpected and (at least I think so, don't know how Dee feels) undeserved treatment. We don't make an abundance of noise, the room is usually a little messy, but that's to be expected having two grown women living in the same room together, and we gave them $50 for utilities for the first two weeks we were here. I guess what frustrates me the most is the unapparent reason for it. Like, if we were being disruptive or cramping his space severely, I could understand. We're barely in the same room as him. Our schedules are different, there's never a line for the bathroom and we're hardly ever home. I understand it's his house and I have no right to tell him what to do, I guess I'm just expecting a little more sympathy than he's willing to offer. It's not like we just sit around the house all day and do nothing, we've been busting our asses trying to find jobs. "

So yeah, that's that. It's annoying as hell but now I'm looking for jobs and apartments that are affordable.  More than likely we're gonna end up subletting on a month by month basis because it'll be cheaper that way until we get real jobs and subsequently, real apts. Siiiiiigh. Ah well. It'll work itself out, I have faith :)
