A quick (sad) update before bed
So if you've heard the rumours...it is indeed true that I am back in SoFla for a while. I graduated on August 4th and have moved back home for the sake of working like a dog and saving money for my January move to New York. Whew! Run on's. Anyway, I"ll be here for a few months and if I'm lucky, I'll be able to save a nice cushion for the future. I won't lie, I'm not really very happy being back down here. I love my family but I haven't ever been a huge fan of living down here (even though I have my whole life). There aren't enough good radio channels, people drive about as bad as they do in Orlando, no one seems to speak english, everything is MAD expensive whether it's gas or a nightclub...le sigh. I doubt I'll HATE it down here but it's going to be hard for me. I always new I wouldn't move home. My mom had even accepted that as a fact. If I wasn't moving to ny with Kristi, I probably wouldn't even be here right now. But I had to be realistic. Living at home means minimal expenses and minimal expenses mean lots of saved money. You do what you have to in order to be safe, secure and happy in the future. I'm going to do my best to make the most of a not so joyous situation by working a lot, spending time with fam and friends down here and visiting Orlando every chance I get. I hope this works out...
