Lots of sketches and concept work

I finally got around to scanning a lot of different projects that have been simmering on the back burner.

The first drawings are from a comic Kevin Strickland wrote about a guy who meditates by lying in open graves.

I experimented with a lot of faces to try and make him look bored and beautiful, but the "devil horns" hair wasn't really working. I wanted him to heavily contrast his coworker, but not look out of place

I have a couple comic scripts written out about some 4th graders. I wanted to market them to children but they all seemed borderline inappropriate... so I had no idea who my audience would actually be.

(Trying to figure out how to make RAD braids, but failing.)

Lars Svensondinner

The Gingher Twins

Some hipster kids

My future BF with Roxy Bodacious the cat drawings

Popcore bitches

Bike-kore

Someday I want to do a digest of short comic stories about a bunch of college frat boys who go on magical quests to find enchanted items to help them pick up chicks. (Example: LIVESTRONG bracelet that always gets the bartenders attention, a special polo shirt that when you pop the collar you are always in perfect lighting.) It seems too gimmicky for me to want to approach, plus I really don't know who my audience is (once again.)

Brody

A Les-bro

I want to do a comic for the Side B anthology about how I used to competitively do bird songs (to get sweet commissions from hunters), until a bird fell in love with me.

(Because I draw really cartoony I think people will think I'm a monster for all the pheasants that died on my behalf, so I was thinking the hunters could be 19th century British men with a harpoon gun and a dodo bird.)

I'm trying to write a little comic with my mom to do mostly pantomime about a kid who is an apprentice to an alchemist. It is the kids job to go out into the forest and collect magic ingredients. I thought it would be really cute. (Plus I wanted to experiment being more cute like harmonica_charm)

Deep sea fish rock.

Finally, a rad scene where the kid tries to steal an egg from an archaeopteryx.

I am currently drawing an epic pokemon parody comic.

This is me and my pokemon, ao_hatefulrobot did the initial caricature of my face.

FINALEE...

Me and J-Fish hangin' out with a robot!

OBJECTION!

THATS ALL FOR NOW! Tell me what sounds good.

sketches, cartoons, concept art, drawings, kids, jfish, bros, pokemon, design
