It's a stick, and for a VW that's actually a pretty good price. There's nothing there that's not typical for a car of that age.

PS What you're looking at is Trade-In, what a dealer would give my mom for her car. Private Party value falls between "Retail" and "Trade-In".

For the average car buyer, yes. But the VW has a novelty value that jacks up the price beyond normal cars. The site it's posted on - www.vwvortex.com - is a site for VW enthusiasts. Which is why I have that price listed.

Besides the fact that it's one-owner and completely clean...

I've been a VW enthusiast for ... as long as I've known what a car was. :)
