so i randomly turned to spike tv earlier while noah was over, and we watched a little about the second fight between tito ortiz and forrest griffin, happening later tonight. i actually got a little excited about it, and was sad that it was pay per view so i couldn't watch it. noah left, and i thought the night would go on to conclude quietly. then i saw patrick kimmons' facebook update: "Patrick Kimmons anyone in k town not goin to the game and ordering the fight call me". i texted him lamenting my dilemma and he said he had been thinking about finding a sports bar to go watch the fight but hadn't wanted to go solo. it turns out he was also near turkey creek and we ended up going out in a spur of the moment attempt to find any bar that was showing the fight. we ended up at baileys on parkside. it was fantastic! there were a few awesome preliminary fights, and the main event was really exciting. i ended up rooting for forrest griffin, and he ended up winning. it was fun to catch up with patrick too. random!
