The Community Erick Effort!
I dropped off the Erick "get well" poster today at The Filling Station. You can go by there during their business hours and sign it. Please encourage everyone to do so! Also, when he gets his own room, I will bring it to the hospital so we can put it up for him to see.
Additionally, according to Sally (friend) the Robin-organized benefit concert will be at the Record Bar on November 8. I wish the Afterparty (my band) could play, but our fearless leader will be out of town. We ARE planning to play Sept. 15th at Davey's Uptown to replace the Popsicles for that gig and subsequently donating our proceeds to Erick's "get well" fund. I will let you know later on when I get that fully confirmed, though.
