I do not think this necessarily makes me a redneck, but it just may in someone else's eyes... and who gives a hot damn anyway. Onward! I find fewer things more infuriating than other's intrusion upon my once happy and serene space. Where I grew up, I could walk outside and barely see another house, and the one I could see just a glimpse of was across the gravel road. It was a beautiful place, surely my ancestors realized that as well when they decided to make a home here nearly two hundred years ago. Over time the land was divided and given to the respectful children of the family. However, just as I and my ancestors realized, others began to see the simple beauty and serenity of our home and decided to make offers. Some people just could not refuse and here they came. Doctors, lawyers, and indian chiefs plopped themselves down, happy as a lark, making themselves out home outside of my comfort zone. Well, perhaps I can tolerate it, ignore the rumble of dump trucks rolling by even when construction is completeed because you allow your land to be used as a dump, ignore the increased traffic, and totally dismiss Ms. Snob with her nose in the air driving by in her BMW. I know there are laws, but this is beyond the law, this is before the law. How can you move in here upon my sacred home and tell me what to do? How to live my life? and to look out for your brats, when no one looked out for me?
