Hard Drive Failure
So after 386 weeks of silence, I decided to write a short entry.
Saturday morning, my hard drive failed. It isn't the end of the world, since I'm fairly good about backing stuff up. I lost a lot of stuff that wasn't exactly important, and of course, all my password hints and lists for the various non critical websites, groups, and junk that I've collected along the way.
All the real important passwords I have written down in a safe place. It is the plethora of second tier ones that are pestering me now...especially since I hadn't bothered to update the email address on many of them. This one, for Livejournal, I actually managed to guess on the second try. It has been well over 4 years since I've actually had to log in without the autologin feature - I'm shocked I remembered it.
