The word ending for today is -ola. As in Victrola, Motorola, Rock-ola, and payola. This seems like an ending basically devoted to the commercialization of something, usually a consumer product, but sometimes just a means of grabbing attention for a news story, as in pay-ola. These days they use -gate for that.
They used to do a similar thing for higher tech stuff where they use the ending -ac, as in Brainiac and Eniac. One may note that, as highly respected as he may be, Balzac is not part of this series.
As always hybridization, or the cross-fertilization of ideas, is a common method of creating a new frame or paradigm with which to advance our understanding of the more abstract aspects of the world in which we find ourselves.
Even so, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that one of the pioneers of the modern super-computer will market its newest mega-machine as the Cray-ola.
