I bought a shirt today at the local thrift shop. A fine deal for $4. It said hand wash on the label, and it smelled like thrift shop and you never know what people do to those clothes before turning them in. So I washed it in the sink pretty much as soon as I brought it back. Three minutes later, I went to rinse the Woolite out of the shirt, and the water it had been soaking in was PURPLE. So glad that 1) I washed it before wearing it, because god knows if it was ever washed, and 2) I didn't attempt to wash it with any other clothes. The end.
