It was Christmastime in the city. Before everything, Hannibal would have been decorating his apartment in garish Christmas lights and obnoxious decorations. Now, he had black out curtains drawn and one small lamp on to provide some (unneeded) illumination.
It was cold inside the small apartment but Hannibal barely even noticed. After getting a unexpected call about a visit from Angela, he'd come back here (after explaining to Danica that this would be a major accomplishment for him, turning his girlfriend) and was now waiting. The tv was on but muted, making the characters look even stupider than Hannibal knew they were.
He was idly sipping something dark red (best not to ask) and dozing lightly on his couch. It was just a typical young adult, enjoying his downtime.
Right? Right.
