securing silicone to plastic surfaces

Hello everyone!

I have a quick question about what kind of adhesive I should use when I'm piping silicone "whipped cream" onto plastic surfaces (i.e. a contact lens case, a mirror, etc.). Is regular super glue okay, or should I use something like epoxy? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (I just had my whipped cream with everything on it fall right off my contact lens case!)
