Need help on an upcoming project :3
Okay, so yesterday I stumbled across this lovely picture on tumblr, and I have a pair of boots sitting around, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
However.
I'm wondering what kind of varnish I should use for the glittery part (without the rhinestones)?
I've got this kind of lacquer, and I used it successfully for decorating a small cylinder.
But would it work for the shoes? Would it adhere to the pleather? And wouldn't it crack over time?
And if so, is there anything that would work like this? Or can those shoes be purely used for decoration then?
I mean, since there's no pressure in the front, I guess the rhinestones would stay there if properly glued on and sealed...
Any ideas from you lovely fellows? D;
