Autumn is on it's way!

It's been a goreous few days, sparked by a roaring thunderstorm that was all too brief.  The smell in the air and the overall feel is reeking of Autumn, and has my creative juices awakening.   I went upstairs last night and dug out a whole slew of cd's I haven't listened to in a long time.  Some examples: SubVersion (The Winds Of War), Siouxsie & The Banshees (A Kiss In The Dreamhouse), Cocteau Twins (The Pink Opaque) and like 30 others, including all my Rasputina cds.
My Fall idea book is getting plump, my sewing plans are in order and the fabulous new grey Opi nail polish is on it's way to me, via Sephora.
I decided a few months ago that grey is the new black.  Mostly because you can't see cat hair as well on it, but now it's become THE color for Fall.  Okay.
Home improvement is inching along so slowly, but still progressing.  We're rushing to get a certain list completed before the cold stuff comes.  We've pretty much had the same to-do list for 4 years and it's getting really fricken old.
My hot blonde is making small talk with a UPS driver and they seem to have a lot in common.  It would be nice to see my man get out more often.    Especially since his only little friend around here just moved away.
Mo has been taking horseback riding lessons for a few months now.  It's going so well, and she's a natural on a horse.   We never ever have to fight her about getting ready for lessons, and that's a rarity with my strong-willed beastie.  We're more than happy to keep going with it and we're working it into our future (horse property/farm/rural move).
For extra cash (a.k.a. Fall boot money), we're having a huge yard sale the weekend after next.  So right now we're cleaning the house, hunting for things that need to go, and prepping for our basement dig this weekend.  Ugh!  Half of the basement's flooded a few times, due to poor washing machine drainage, so our boxes have been stacked and restacked in no particular order.  That will be fun (please read with sarcasm).
  Time to go make enchiladas!
