alex and i are officially no more.
it was kind of exciting to break up with someone for the first time. i was really nervous at first but the classic "i think we should just be friends" line is really easy, yet kind of corny and slightly unclassy enough to show my true feelings. after all, our "relationship" was pretty much solely based on sucking face and thus was totally pointless and boring after a couple weeks.
over break i went to a phenomenauts show. it was quite exciting despite the fact that i was alone (which i don't normally don't mind but in this case, was kind of awkward with like 30 people). at the concert i saw a funny girl. i think she's one of those people that would describe themselves as "quirky", or "fun" in a way that reeks ignorance and "like omg. i <333333 ______!!!!!1111!!11one!!!!one". not scene of course, cause that would be "like omg. i <33xxx33core _____ !!11!!!!" but rather more country hick-ish, bouncing from side to side, with a shirt autographed by a hooooorrible band from L.A. called "The God Awfuls" (no joke).
i felt like an uber lame-o taking pictures at a concert but hey, the phenomenauts are picture-worthy.
