Writing fic, again
So, I've started a couple of new fics, despite the fact that I have at least four that are woefully unfinished and will probably remain so, floating about the internet until I decide to remove them. Alas.
The fics I have posted now kind of took on a mind of their own. I started on of them over a year ago as a challenge response, but I didn't post it until now because I wasn't sure if the plot would go very far. The premise is that when Buffy kills Angel at the end of Season 2, the backlash from the portal shoots Buffy through time and space and she ends up in a different time and place. Hogwarts, but not Marauder era as everyone seems to like doing. No, I went further back into time and made her arrive at the beginning of Tom Riddle's sixth year, Minerva McGonagall's seventh. It's proving to be interesting and really easy to write; I have about 8k posted and almost 10k written, and I'm really excited to see where my imagination takes it.
The second fic is a little on the shamelss side. It's an NCIS fic where Fornell from the FBI is asked to help NCIS with a new case that has some advanced computer hacking involved. Fornell brings what will soon be dubbed as the "hacker tracker" a young, but very experienced computer hacker who just so happens to be Tony DiNozzo's kid sister. Elizabeth DiNozzo is a shameless author self-instertion because I have a HUGE fangirl crush on McGee, who she ends up with.
Now I want my own McGee... :P
