Relief
Saw Dr. Montenegro this morning. Best news in a while. He didn't say that I needed surgery again, like he did on my last visit. In fact he said my range of motion has improved. Bad news is I have to stay with the brace for at least three more months. But that is not as bad as starting all over again after surgery. Last Wednesday was six months since my accident. I can't believe how much I took walking for granted before that. I can't believe how much I took having someone who loved me like a daughter for granted. Those two things are not really related, but I just thought about it, how we don't quite appreciate anything as much as when it is gone.
