Does your Lord forgive the trespasses of the Original betrayer?

Humans are molded in His image, would you not do as He?

No.

But we are told to forgive. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

[ One can tell, irritably so. ]

You needn't quote the Word to me, Sister, I know His laws well enough. I would merely like to see Him abide by them Himself. Yet.. that is a debate for a later time.

[ A bitter subject for him. ]

What will you do when those whom you've forgiven betray you once more? If they are capable of it even but once, who's to say they cannot be corrupted again?

Ah...forgive me.

[ But that comment made her curious. ]

What do you mean, "abide by them Himself"?

[...]

Who's to say they will be corrupted again? I would hate to become a person who has lost faith in people and their ability to change for the better.

[ There's a sibilant sound marking his chagrin with the matter. ]

At a later time.

[ An emphasis that he would keep. The subject was far too personal for one he barely knew... yet. ]

Your Lord is to say. Sin is inherent, humanity will never be rid of it till Tribulation is at an end.

Very well.

[ She doesn't push the matter; after all she has enough on her mind as it is. ]

Sin is inherent, but it's not as if people are all -- oh, I don't know, evil. Every sin is equal, but...one should use common sense as well, I think.

If I were to be honest with myself, I want would like to forgive this person; trust them again and have things go back to the way they were. However I must think about the people around me as well.
