Maybe this is just my personal preference, but I think it's a really bad idea for a DJ to play Quiet Riot, Twisted Sister, and then that "Boys of Summer" song (one after the other). I don't care if it's 1:45 and the bar is about to close, you can't play whatever you want. Were these songs ever popular? Am I too picky? "Boys of Summer" is not a song that makes me want to shake it on the dance floor. I imagine that more people have sat on couches, smoking weed to that song than those who have danced to it. Anyways, this was at The Beauty Bar. I didn't have a bad time, but it could have been much better.
