SHOLIN KEMPO
Sholin Kempo is one of China's, as well as the world's, oldest fighting systems. Originally developed by the Shaolin Monks, the art is considered to be the father of Martial Arts, building the foundations for many other systems such as Karate(Chinese Hands). Shaolin Kempo has, to this day, remained distinctively Chinese in style and is based on the Shaolin 5 animals (Tiger, Leopard, Crane, Dragon, and Snake).
Martial Arts Develops: Physical Fitness, Mental Awareness, Self Defense, Confidence, Attention Span, Flexibility, Agility, Balance, Listening Skills, Ability to handle Confrontations, and Strength.
TAI CHI CHUAN
Tai Chi increases strength, energy, balance, mobility, flexibility, and coordination, along with improved ability to handle mental and emotional stress, better concentration and improved posture.
AEROBIC KICKBOXING
Aerobic Kickboxing is a Physically challenging and exciting alternative to traditional aerobic training. These classes feature all of the training aspects of full contact kickboxing, but without actual contact. You will kick and punch your way into shape. If your current carido fitness program is no longer challenging or meeting your physical fitness goals, this program is for you.
WOMEN'S SELF DEFENSE AND AWARENESS
Because of the rise in violent crimes especially against women, many women are learning how to defend themselves. Women's Self Defense and Awareness not only teaches how to defend when attacked, but also how to avoid confrontation and situations where attack is likely.
The class structure includes basic self defense techniques with awareness of surroundings and personal safety as the main emphasis. Classes are offered on a short and lnog term basis. Workshops for orginizations are also offered.

MY OPINION
I have been attending St.Matthew's Martial Arts for six months and I am about to get my Blue Belt. I have strengthened my right leg through martial arts much better than I have with Physical Theropy, and I have reached a higher level of physical and mental endurance through It as well. The Instructors are really good at teaching martial arts and they wont treat U like a Drill instructor treats a recruit. I attend St. Matthews three days a week and always look forward to It. Ive'e really gotten a lot out of this and hope U will too.
