I thought I should update
And I really don't know what to say.
It has been an intense summer and doesn't seem to be letting up. New Job, kids, financials, holidays, family, life, etc...
The kids started school this week and it seems to be a positive experience with both of the older grandkids. My 3 year old grand-daughter is visiting and Conner, the other 3 year old is delighted to have someone to play with.
Ruth calls the boys, "My boys". As in, "I want to play with my boys" or "My boys want a snack" or "I like my boys."
They had a game of extreme tag tonight where all four were running around and screaming in the front yard. It was extreme because they were pushing, shoving, knocking each other off their feet and wrestling. It went on and on and no one was hurt or upset at all. In fact there was lots of laughter.
And then they took baths and went to bed.
I hope the fall is calmer but it doesn't seem to be heading that way.
