Let's Go Rescue Tiffa!
Who: Garrod Ran, Tiffa Adill, Ennil El, and an NPC or two
What: Garrod sneaks into the enemy stronghold to rescue Tiffa.
When: About half a week before "Can You Hear My Voice?"
Where: Fort Severn

Garrod departed the Freeden in a jeep and drove toward Fort Severn. Along the way, though, he encountered a convoy headed for the town, so he ditched the jeep and stowed away beneath one of the trucks. He rode all the way into town beneath a truck, and then sneaked his way into the mayor's manor.
While crawling through the air ducts, he found himself above the mayor's office. Inside, he saw one other person who was very familiar to him: Ennil El. After what happened last year, he wasn't about to forget her face any time soon. He listened to their conversation, and when they left the office, he followed.
Garrod followed them all the way underground, where the mayor and Ennil were still talking. Before them, partly concealed, was a mobile armor known as the "Patulia." Listening further, he overheard conversation as to who would be used to operate the mobile armor -- Tiffa or Carris.
Then, the mayor mentioned a term unfamiliar to Garrod: "Cyber-Newtype." Garrod had never heard the term before, but it was too easy to guess what it referred to. It meant that Carris had become a Newtype through artificial means.
Unfortunately, in his shock, he caused a rock beneath his hands to break off and tumble down the mound of dirt in front of him. There was no way he wouldn't be noticed after making that sound.
