"I lost my voice in the fire. I burned my eyes staring at your eclipse."

Well I guess it's time for an update. Believe it or not I'm stil alive!

Last weekend (like two weeks ago), I went to Montreal with Pat, Dan and D'Arcy. Obviously it was a great time.

Here's some of the highlights:

-Our first hour there we see some guy getting head from a hooker, on the main street, like ON the street....
-Staying in two of the coolest hotels ever, one of them was apartment suites, so we had a kitchen and master bedroom, everything. The other had a huge mini fridge and microwave.
-We saw the Black Dahlia Murder, sooo intense.
-You can buy beer and wine in the corner stores.
-Everyone is really nice, and super friendly, prolly because they're all on vacation, and who's pissed off when they're on vacation?
-We went to the best bar EVER. Foufones Electriques (sp?). The music was awesome. Everything from Weakerthans to Sparta to Alkaline Trio to Alexisonfire and the dj put on my Blood Brothers cd when I asked him. It was like the Bovine, but bigger. They sold "large" Jack & Cokes for $6! It was heaven I swear!
-I bought an awesome Spoon watch.
-Beer taste tests in the grocery store.
-We went up a mountain!
-Visited a kickass art museum. "Which way to the Renoir's!?" hehe.
-Speaking broken French is extremely fun.
-Our rental car was sweet.
-I found an awesome store that wants to carry Alarm. (It was funny, Dan walked in, and the guy is like "Where did you get that shirt? It's awesome!" and Dan directed him to me...)
-Musique Plus has some fucked up videos.
-We partied hard.
-We got to hangout with Kindra for a tiny bit on the way home on monday, but it should've been longer, fuck you Dan, you'll pay.

I'm having trouble remembering everything, partially because it was two weeks ago, and partially because it was a 72 hour party. Either way we're all seriously considering moving there. It's such an awesome place.

The week after I was dead. I wasn't able to do anything at all. Too damn tired.

Friday I went to Luke's cottage. It's on a lake, and you can only reach it by boat. Guess what happens. The super massive boat I'm on (with like fourteen other people) decides to hit something and dies. Marina and Brandyn had to come to our rescue and tow us with an aluminum fishing boat.... Good times.

As soon as we reached shore it was awesome. We all busted out the party supplies and cranked the tunes. It was a sweet cottage, huge deck, a really big covered gazebo, etc..

We built a fire and watched Rob fall into the water, repeatedly. hehe.

A lot of the night was captured on video, thanks to Brandyn. I was well behaved, other than singing along to Taking Back Sunday in an attempt to piss off Adam, and it worked.

The next day we spent a lot of time in the boat. Wakeboarding is always fun. Luke drove us to this bridge, and a bunch of us jumped off, then we went to these mini waterfalls, they were impressive.

Then we had the best dinner ever.

It was a really awesome end to my already incredibly awesome summer.

I just wish she could've been there to share it with me.

After we got home we went to Fitzy's to celebrate Adam's 19th birthday, I had fun, but I was sooo wrecked from being in the sun all day that I was incoherent.

Yesterday I woke up at 5:44 PM. Holy lazy Batman. I couldn't believe it.

Then I go and miss Andrew W.K. because I had no one to go with from Barrie. Luke and D'Arcy, you suck! As long as my dear Kindra, Pat and Liam got to party hard, it's okay though. I just wish I could've rocked with them.
