Friday night was killer.
Went to Toronto to see Moneen (yep, twice in 4 days fuckers!) obviously they rocked, but it was much better than the show on tuesday because the crowd totally cared about being there.
Everyone was going off the whole set, and just when I thought it was over, the singer from Counterfit jumps on stage, and the guitars start rocking the opening riff to "New Noise", everyone is looking around at eachother with "no fucking way this is happening" faces, then the entire club belts out "CAN I SCREAMMM!" and it's total madness. Soooo intense.
The whole show was filmed, and they had boom mics to capture the crowd singing along. They're going to be using the footage for an upcoming video. Should be good times, it was a great night.

We get to the bar, and we're all like "Jager. Time!" and were about to get a shot of Jager, and who turns around but Ewan, and he tosses back a shot and crushes the plastic shotglass. Pat looks at Ewan and says "That's the way you fucking do it man"..... Ewan has totally broken his edge. It's fucked because he was one of the most prominant edge figures in the Toronto scene, if not the most.
Here's where things get funny.
We push Ewan out of the way and order three shots of Jager...... and the bartender tells us that there isn't any left. Fucking Ewan had the final shot of Jager. How unfair is that? It was really funny though.
Last night we went to Fitzy's for a bit then made our way to Luke's for a nice pool/keg party.
There's nothing like staying up all night and having a before-bed swim when it's almost completely light out.
Now it's like 3:30 and I think it's time to party again.
