Kanda was raised to be what Akito was in the manga-- a killing machine.

From the moment he could walk, he was put through vigorous training with ATs, Air Treks, to hone his skill to the point where he could take down other Storm Riders with ease.

On his first official ride, he "accidentally" injured his opponents enough to kill them.

And he didn't care.

It was his mission. His job. His purpose. He knew nothing else than to ride, and if people died because of it--

Then they were just weak.

...And then his team had a battle against Allen's and. Lost. (Kanda won his round, of course.) Kanda's team disbanded. Allen did not, as Kanda thought he would, rub it in the older man's face about losing, or berate him or anything just because his team lost. They.. were kind-of-almost friends. And being kind-of-almost friends with Allen meant being kind-of-almost-but-not-really friends with Allen's buddies, Lavi and Linali and the whole shebang.

Kanda's outlook on his life has since then been altered. He does not try to kill every single opponent he has anymore, unless he is specifically told to (which is never, in his case, because joining Allen's team meant no killing people, yeah). If anyone harms his teammates, particularly Allen, Linali, and Lavi, or his surrogate family, Daisya, Marie, and Chaoji, he will totally kick your ass. Do not doubt him. He is quite capable of causing fatal injuries to someone and not feeling a thing about it-- it just takes a bit of detaching, which he is oh so good at.

The bottom line?

Well.. there isn't one.

Don't get in his way. Don't mess with his "friends". Don't mess with his "family". And he won't attempt to shred your skin off.

Rough Timeline

At age...
Two-Seven;
→ Began training. More often than not found with Alma Karma.

Seven;
→ Mastered basics. Alma was close behind.

Eight;
→ Both Yuu and Alma undergo the Brain Charger experiment and start training to learn to harness their newfound abilities.

Nine;
→ Final showdown! After a long, intense battle, Kanda defeats Alma.
→ Alma is never seen again. Kanda believes he killed Alma. In truth, Alma was taken back to heal from his injuries and go through even harsher training to become stronger.
→ As the victor, Kanda received Fang Regalia, Bloody Armor. New training regimen implemented.

Eleven;
→ First official run. Took down rogue (aka teamless) Storm Riders trespassing on team territory.

Eleven-Fourteen;
→ Mostly getting rid of those rogues.

Fifteen;
→ First official AT Parts War battle.
→ Complete. Desecration. Of opponent. Aka they bled to death at the end. Like usual. Or hemorrhaged. He doesn't remember.

Fifteen-Seventeen;
→ More AT battles, sometimes on his own.
→ somewhere around the beginning of high school, Kanda noticed one of his classmates with a Flame Regalia. He challenged Lavi just to see how he held up to another supposed 'King', but he stopped it, declaring it a draw. He saw Lavi's potential, and the thought of a strong Rider he could fight with in the future was better than snuffing that flame out right at that moment.
→ The Vatican's territory expands greatly, but never advances into A-class.

Seventeen;
→ The Vatican battles with The Black Order. Kanda wins battle against his opponent (aka the guy is still in a coma in the hospital), but The Vatican loses.
→ The Vatican is disbanded.
→ Allen, leader of The Black Order's subdivision, The Exorcists, suggests taking Kanda into the team. Kanda, having nowhere else to go, accepts. He obeys only Allen, as far as killing other players goes.
→ Kanda is temporarily adopted by Tiedoll, a long-since retired Storm Rider, partially against his will. But, well, it's fine with him. As long as he can still run and do what he's supposed to do, it's not much of a deal.

Eighteen;
→ Has been in The Exorcists for a year now. Detailed events still pending.
