Soooo i read a bunch of books and didnt bother to post about them...nothing special or out of the ordinary.....mostly continuances to series Ive already read and posted about in the past...
I finally found Kitty takes a Holiday by Carrie Vaughn, the one I had previously missed and gone back to read. It explained SO much! lol...just missing that one book made the 4th so confusing...so im glad I went back to read it...and now i have new found respect for a character I somewhat found boring before...so yay
Also, I read the second installment in the Dresden series: Fool Moon by Jim Butcher. I like him, i really do. The main character makes me laugh, and its not cheesy laughter like most books. Its genuinely a great sarcastic character. The book itself had a little TOO much plot, if you know what I mean. Too much happens. Too many bad guys. Too many fights. I had no idea when the friggen thing would end. And some of the characters got beat on so much I couldnt understand why they were still alive. Oh well, im still gonna keep reading further into the series.
And lastly, a book I picked up for 4.99, To Serve and Submit by Susan Wright. It was alright. Only alright. She has nothing on Jacqueline Carey in the submission/dominant storyline. And this was a little too much fantasy for me. I like fantasy, but it has to work ya know? Not giving me all this crap about earth spirits that only she can feel and yadda yadda. I dunno, it bugged me a lil. I finished it though, so it wasnt that bad.
Im caught up now. Go me.
