[There's a clearly amused sound overheard as the device only catches sight of silk and long painted nails.]
How nice to see the two of you have made yourselves at home, but please do mind those plants. If the both of you insist on staying near the house I would hope care is taken untill a few adjustments can be made to accomidate the two of you without some form of trouble.
[Soon enough what D is speaking with can be seen when the PCD is placed down on a stone table fashioned in the garden behind his home- a tan and black speckled hippogriff and, perhaps surprisingly, a swan dragon. Both have tucked themselves near a small patch of pumpkins and a few other plants on their last legs of producing vegetables.
The Count was accumulating animals slowly, when they decided to follow him home anyway. Eventually he may have to find some larger place to stay, but for now the house on the Row would still manage. His worry wasn't for his neighbors however, but more for the creatures themselves. No matter, it was a comfort to know that even here he could rely on their company when needed.]
Also, please remember not to eat your fellow occupants of this residence- those outside are, however, fine. [Both creatures appear to understand, feathered heads stroked before returning to retrieve the PCD, pausing as he notices it already on. A brief sigh before clearing his throat.]
Good day, Adstringendum.
As I'm sure any of you paying attention will have noticed I've several pumpkins grown, and as this is the month those who celebrate Halloween do enjoy carving and using them I wouldn't mind trading a few of them off for a few things I will need. Of course there are other uses- roasted pumpkin seeds are rather good, and the innards can be used for a few dishes.
[Of course he won't say how he got hold of the things needed to grow pumpkins such as seeds- if he used seeds at all, but only a few would know of that little 'trick' of his.]
For those I've not yet met, along with our new arrivals, I am Count D. If you happen to have any animal companions and they should fall ill, or you simply need some form of assistance with them, I'd be more than happy to help. Please do remember, however, that I am no veterinarian. [Click.]
