Me either. They were too well established by the time I figured out they were British that I have to consciously try to make them speak correctly now. And they keep slipping up and 'talking American' without me noticing. James is doing a better job of it than Tristan, but they're both pretty miserable still. (Strangely enough, Christ was British in my head from the get-go. Because of Spike I guess.)

They're not *really* British anymore- years and years of being in the US and all that. ^_^

Oh, but I doubt they're as American as I initially had them. We lived in the states for a few years when I was a kid, near Spokane, and I think I inadvertently gave them that accent. Which isn't even really Seattle, and not right for them at all in retrospect - there should at least be an echo of something like there is in people who immigrated when they were kids.

I wish I didn't hear people when I read them. No, I take that back. I'm glad I do, but I wish their voices weren't so hard to fix later.
