I apologise to those who have heard of SKYPE but I only got it tonight and im feeling rather exciteable because it is just SOOOO KOOOOOL! For those of you who havent heard of it ... brace yourselves and read on.....
Right you need to get yourself down to Tesco and buy yourselves a pair of Trust head phones they cost 4 squid 50. ( they are the ones whith the volume control on the cord and a microphone at the front). AFter this you need to come straight home (no talking to strangers and look both ways when you cross the road) and plug them in2 ur comp make sure thr right colours on the wires correspond to the input in your comp. You then need to go www.skype.com and download ir for FREEE. it wil take about a minute if you have broadband. YOu then need to put your details in blah blah blah and make a user name etc. When you have added youself you need to search the contacts for meeeeeeeeeee " evebyrne"<--- in case there are several i am the 1 from the european union and u know the rest of my details. and add anyone else that has already added themselves at this point. When you find my name on the list, add me and then right click on my name and click "CALL" my computer wil then ringgggggggg and i will click answer and we shall speak to one another til our hearts content for FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if your in CHina if you'v got the head fones the call is freeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! (my bro speaks to all his contacts in china via this for freee) How amazing is that????????!!!!!! and the quality is superb and because the person who your speaking to speaks out of the comp speakers it sounds like they'r in the room! One cannot even imagine the advantages this shall bring for remaining in touch when we'r at UNI!!!!!!!!
