HOME AGAIN

So, I'm now home from my week long vacation. It was rainy for the most part, but the chance to get away from everything was.... almost.... worth it. It honestly could've been a little bit better. I'd like to take two days back, though, because, well, they weren't the greatest.

The first few days, we couldn't do much because we didn't have the van out with us at that point. We had to wait for the dealership to drive it up to us. Yes. We had our truck and camper with us, but we also wanted to drive around and hit up the actual hotsprings and a few other tourist hotspots around the area.

Tuesday night, the other sibling joined the rest of us after spending the weekend at the anime convention here, at home.

Tuesday and Wednesday are the days I wanna take back, but hopefully things will change for the good of everyone ('s sanity).

Thursday, we hit up Fort Steele and wandered through the small town, going through as many of the buildings as we could. IT looked like there was some sorta youth group there, too. We watched them play a rather shitty game of Ultimate Frisbee, followed by a mock military drill. The three of us got a good kick outta that, watching them do pushups all the time.

Friday, we spent a bit of time at the hotsprings, just soaking. (Granted, it wasn't the actual thing. It was more or less just a heated pool. Like a giant hot tub! Only just a couple degrees cooler.

And, today was the trip back home. Which was a little more eventful than the trip out there last weekend! Our truck basically broke down on us, so we had to get it towed to the closest garage for a couple days while we headed back home. The 'rents are supposed to head out on Monday to grab the camper off the truck and possibly have the truck arranged to be towed back to the dealership's garage so they can fix it. So much for waiting until we got home, in the first place!

Anyways, I feel refreshed, despite that I didn't get as much work done as I could've while I was out there. Oh well. I got -some- stuff done, at least.

Hasta!
