A Ron/Draco explanation for inquiring minds

Taken from my fanfiction profile just so, you know, it's here, and reminds me that Kris is annoying...

I am a loyal Ron/Draco shipper. I really am. For anyone who reads/read my Draco/Ron fic, I apologize to you. I've been walking around for over a year nitpicking a Ron/Draco series that actually originated from the long-deceased (2 1/2 years dead) story Chasing Rainbows. I believe I advertised it some time a long time ago (obviously over 2 1/2 years). A little over a year ago, I started forming this wacky, charming, American-set (but not AU until the 7th book!) college story with Ron in this sweetass little band and Draco's an aspiring artist (like, you know, with paints and sketchbooks kind of artist). The general synopsis is that Draco is there because Voldemort was after Draco because of that, you know, failing to kill Dumbledore thing, and the last place he would have thought to look was Muggle America. He's still there because there are Death Eaters still out to get him because of how he betrayed them besides Voldemort being dead and gone. Ron's there because after the war, living in the wizarding world is hard for him, having survived so much pain and suffering. They meet up and wacky, zaniness ensues (and shagging, of course), but I have yet to work out the exact details. Like, exactly how they're meeting up.

There will be a plethora of original characters, including a boy that's been living in my head since October '05 named Kris Deveaux, who looks a lot like Jared Leto, and popped into my head one day, told me his name, that Ron was his buddy, and Ron was in this kickass emo screamo band. I tried to get rid of Kris. Kris did not exist in Chasing Rainbows. Ron wasn't in a band in Chasing Rainbows. And Ron and Kris loved Starbucks before I ever did, which also wasn't in Chasing Rainbows. This untitled story will make an appearance eventually, or it will stay in my head until I'm dead and buried. As Kris gets on my nerves (I try to spell his name Chris, but Kris tells me that's wrong), I refuse to carry him with me for another year. I hope there are interested readers, and if there aren't, well, Kris doesn't care either way so long as I write about this sweetass little band.

FYI: Kris is the band's manager. I do hope that has nothing to do with Kris's persistance.

So, yeah. I actually have to take the time to sit down and work on this thing because I'm three pages into the first chapter, and Kris is already relenting a little.

God, that kid bugs me.

If he were real, I'd kick him.
