I'm currently watching and liking:
1. Kaseifu no Mita
I love this. Probably because the writer is the same person who wrote The Queen's Classroom and a bunch of other dramas I like. Yukawa Kazuhiko dramas have characters that are not... typical. I will watch whatever this person writes.
2. HUNTER
I'll watch anything with flawless perfect cannot fail Yonekura Ryoko in it. Anything. This is also as silly as a Janet Evanovich novel.
3. 11 Nin mo iru
Not typical my kind of drama, but I follow good screenwriters and I think this is OK. I don't LOVE it but I could see it getting interesting.
4.Sengyou Shufu Tantei ~Watashi wa Shadow
I've been staning Fukada Kyoko for 12 years. I don't know why. She usually plays someone irritating and probably can't act. Her voice is high pitched and whiny. Why am I watching this? Why do I like her? Couldn't tell you, but it's OK.
5. Shinya Shokudo 2
I plan to watch this once it's done. I really enjoyed the first season. If you don't like the first season of this, you have no soul.
6. Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu
I really like this and I'd like to see how this goes.
Not sure if like but somehow watching
1. Mitsu no aji
I'm just watching this because it is a proper (in the British English sense) drama. I've gotten hooked on craziness in dramas and both the main female characters seem to be nuts. That said, if the story goes bad I'll drop it.
2. Yokai Nigen Bem
The guy who wrote the original story to this is amazing. I think Kame looks like Irvine from Final Fantasy VIII. I think I like the story. A good story will keep me watching a drama, even if the acting is bad.
3. Boku to Star no 99 Nichi
I really like Nishijima Hidetoshi. And Kim Tae Hee's assistant is really adorable. Not sure about everything else. I tend to like Nishijima Hidetoshi in a serious role.
Dropped and/or barely hanging on
1. Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de
Dropped half way through first episode. :( I liked the comic parts but the rest really bored me.
2. Bitter sugar
This had fantastic cinematography. The writing is very realistic -- you feel like you're sitting in the room with the people. Do you know what this means? This drama is very boring. That's why reality shows are heavily edited.
3. Nankyoku Tairiku
This has a lot of actors/actresses I really like in it. Unfortunately I find the story line unappealing. Too bad, I like KimuTaku and Ayase Haruka.
