Good job capturing how Jo's thoughts would go in this situation. Nice twist about the girl, and I like that last line:

She only relaxes when she recognizes the boots and jeans emerging from the 1967 Chevy Impala.

Lovely...
I can totally see Jo reacting that way in this situation.
Feeling at ease when Dean shows up seems natural for the character (and I do love her for it).
The twist the spirit being the accidental culprit was interesting.
