Well that's a bit of a cliffhanger (to say the least)!

I do adore the writers of this fandom, with a few words you can spin something that will just sit in my brain for hours. So many question! Was she awake or unconscious this entire time? Why would Howard tell Nathan? Has Nathan been hitting the Jack Daniels and listening to Pasty Cline all this time?

One of the things I love about writing drabbles is that you don't have to explain everything, just encourage readers to read between the lines. It's so much fun to see what people read there.

I'm more than a little convinced that Agent Howard is a good guy. His motives are shrouded in mystery, but somewhere in all of this, he's looking out for Audrey. Maybe not just Audrey, but he's on her side.

Ha! I swear, I looked at the title and thought, "Huh, doesn't pregnancy take about 40 weeks? Funny coincidence." with absolutely no expectation that that would have anything to do with the fic.
