Mrs. R. makes fig cakes for tea which are fit for a king, queen, princess or, in our case, a creative, naughty girl! The recipe comes from the kitchen of Versailles but, apparently they were so good, they never made it to the Court since they were eaten by royal help along the way. Mrs. R carries her afternoon cakes in personally.
