HELLO FROM OLYMPIA. i am sitting in the bedroom of davie clark (who is max's brother) checking all my internets while people watch weird 80's student-made apocalyptic films and look at cute animal pictures. olympia is cold in a good way. two nights before this we camped on the coast, first near/in the redwoods somewhere in northern california and then in the oregon coast sand dunes at a sight called EEL CREEK (which no one told me until after we left because they knew i would freak out bless their hearts). camping is weird. i am bad at it because i have never really ever done it before this trip. i sleep in the van while everyone else sleeps in the tent. i am too afraid to not be locked in something while i am sleeping (like tent that has net windows vs van that has locks and is made of METAL).

we get to hang out here for three days which is kind of awesome to have off time in a place where we have someone to hang out with and not much to do. we had a show here last night, and another on friday. after that we get to go to the clark parent's house to hang out for one day and one night. i am beyond excited to meet them. then we begin the adventure home - traveling back through mountains and crossing montana and playing more shows.

i think i am excited to be home. we have a show august second in minneapolis and then i am planning on maybe disappearing to my parent's house for a night or two to sleep all day, rent movies, eat food, and take a mini vaycay in a way that is different from the vaycay that i have been on for the past thirteen days.

i am also excited to get home and get my film processed. i have shot over 15 rolls and need to buy more because i don't think the 10 more i have will last until through the end of the month. i am nervous about some insane climate issues, but i have been assured by mr. benjamin innes (photo tech expert) that it will probably be fine and i shouldn't worry about it at all. here's hoping.
