[the only thing on Charles' mind when he picks up the phone is 'keep busy, keep busy'. he doesn't have the luxury of stopping to think about what had happened now, and though he can't halt the slight tremor in his hands as he picks the phone up and filters his call from the usual crowd, he manages to keep most of the anger and frustration from his voice when he speaks.]

I must make an addendum to my earlier statement. Only play this game if you are ready and willing to lose. This much should go without saying, but the players on the opposing team are very poor sports.

[a pause; he doesn’t know who else has become involved by this point and doesn't particularly care, but he still feels responsible for getting out the warning, especially considering who they left the body with.]

To those who have had a direct hand in things already, I can only say prepare for the worst despite any careful measures that have been taken to ensure a victory.
