Written at the early hours of this morning. First poem I've written in like 7 years

GREY

I am the blend between the dakness and the light
I am the grey

I am as everchanging as the sea with an overcast sky
I am unforgiving like the waves that pound against the shore

I am the only survivor in a war against myself
And the only casualty was my soul
