"It's not the weather, hand me my leather"

*shrugs* I don't get new personal items very often, so sometimes I like to talk about them.

I did a bit of shopping (online and not). I was so overwhelmed by seeing Harlequin Valentine by Neil Gaiman in a real life store and not online that I bought it... even after I swore up and down that I wouldn't buy new books until after Valentine's Day.

I justified the purchase by saying that it's a Valentine's story, and I wouldn't read it until that day.

I did the same thing with the skirt. Swore up and down that I wouldn't buy more skirts until it was warmer weather again, but there it was. I couldn't help it. It was fluttery and pink and beribboned. Sometimes I really do want to be a pretty, pretty princess. It must be genetic.

Bought a few shirts. Nag champa soap. Stuff. Did window shopping for my next outing. After all, the nifty pinstriped miniskirt might go on sale since it's been over a year.

The crowning glory of the shopping? It arrived yesterday! I didn't expect it to be shipped so promptly after payment, so they will totally get positive feedback.

What's it? What is it?

My first leather corset. It is awesome and made of win. It's actually the only overbust corset that I've liked, and I'm quite excited to start breaking it in today. I wasn't quite sure about how well it would fit, but everything worked out just fine... now all that's left is to wear it for short periods until it fits and I can lace it with no more than a two inch gap. Eventually, even less. Maybe. We'll see how that goes.

This shallow post brought to you by the part of me made of frilly gay male. ;)
