The hospital is bustling with activity, and it appears as though there is new blood amongst the staff. A warm welcome is due... I should send a gift, especially considering the day and all.
That special occasion brought to attention, I would like to remind people that charitable donations to soup kitchens, various charities and group homes, and other organizations intent upon helping the poor and less fortunate would be well appreciated today. If you are unable to donate clothing or food, consider donating a little of your time.
I myself will be spending the majority of the day at the hospital, and the majority of the afternoon with particular patients in need of socializing. This evening, however, my doors are open to the public, as well as my backyard. I will be hosting a barbecue. It is rather a last minute announcement, but given how busy I typically am I was not certain until now that I was going to be available to the public.
Everyone is welcome. Bring your family and your friends, and please, do not forget your manners.
PRIVATE/HACKABLE: A most unusual discovery last night... but pleasant, nevertheless. I suppose all that I can do in the meantime is theorize until I know more. I am afraid that this may occupy my mind all through the day and that tonight I may be very restless, indeed.
It has been a while since I have felt this kind of stirring, however. It is quite nice... although it does leave me with much to desire.
