Equivalence. Well… I think it’s something equal. Probably in force or a value of something. So I guess it’s a reaction to an action. If something happens, then there’s an equivalent to it. Maybe when you die, there’s occasionally an equivalent force that brings you back? I don’t really know how that works.

So maybe… death is the equivalent reaction

Yeah. I've always been kind of fond of the "it's the thought that counts" rule, too.
