The Celebrity!
Ok, taking a break from my positive thinking to write abit about this one guy I have had the pleasure to make acquitances with recently, actually, for the past 3 weeks I think.
My perception of any celebrity fgure is that they are either arrogant in person or pretty down to earth. By celebrity, I dont mean some pretty big figure that every one knows about like Tom Hanks or Keither Sutherland or Wentworth Miller, more like the kind of person that there are people who know of but once too many times you will say their names and more than one person will go like.....who is that? Exactly!
See, I would expect this kind of person to try to make sure less and less people gave that response when his name came up. But, No....this guy, I guess, is one of the many few down to earth guys.
I have not met him yet. We have chatted, we have talked on phone. He is a pretty funny guy...hell...I thik he rocks..in person! Thats the best bit! He is a lot like the character I have seen him play in one of the local programmes...not sure if that is a good thing or not. But lets just say he is a great guy.
Anyway, bottomline is, celebrities are who we make them to be. Now this guy may not see himself so much as one, but I think he is...and not just as the person in the screen...but a person in real life. Maybe fat had it that I would never meet Mark Feehily in this lifetime.....but at least I got to meet another celeb, got to be friends with a celeb closer to home!!
And I must admit the screams my friend omits everytime the guy calls makes the experience more the worthwhile!!!
Hey mat, just incase you ever read this, you rock.....and it was a pleasure having met you in this lifetime.
