I miss you guys!
I'm really missing my flist! I checked with neongraal today and will definitely get to see the finale of Angel on Sunday, but in the meantime I'm avoiding you all (no offence, I hope). I'll do a big catch-up on Monday and see what I've been missing, but if there's anything you really want me to know about, comment here with a link, or email me.
I've had another poem printed in Valley Micropress - this is the 9th since September. Looks like the other three I submitted to Tony last week have also been accepted, and will appear in later issues. *does a little dance*

Catching Twilight

My arms are wide and fingers spread.
Twilight trails through, around, beyond
my hands as I twist
on the grass with my head
tilted back.
I cannot catch the twilight but
the evening star
catches my eyes,
it's glow reflected.
I noticed the other day that wenchwoman now has 'debxena' listed as an interest in her LJ profile. *pimps madly* You guys want to do that same, dontcha?
The Invader Zim DVD that Ben and I ordered arrived on Monday! After a failed attempt to watch it with alasatyr (his folk's DVD player didn't like the region coding), Ben and I got to play with it on Wednesday evening. Listened to the commentary to The Nightmare Begins, watched the couple of eps I hadn't seen, and laughed ourselves silly at the Original Pilot. Also, the subtitles in Irken are amusing.
We've got S2 on pre-order, and it'll be very cool when that arrives.
Amazon have been really busy this week - the 6th (and final) graphic novel in the Omaha the Cat Dancer series arrived for Ben yesterday. It's a lovely, sex-filled, very plotty furry story (and I'm a non-furry reader, with the exception of Sabrina and this, which tells you how good I think it is). I've read the first four books, and have held out on reading the fifth as I wanted to read the last two together. That'll keep me busy this weekend!
I've enjoyed doing requests the last few days - I wrote a poem for namfle, a Firefly drabble for olivia_circe, and an Ode for blue_battler. Any more requests? I really enjoyed stretching myself trying out new things, and it's a pleasure to do little things you make you guys happy.
