Very Important Literary Discussion

Okay, so sarahcross and I were having a very important literary discussion about characters who are a part, or are becoming a part, of our modern mythology. But without a system to rank them (like, you know, Zeus and Hera are the bosses, Athena's his daughter, etc., etc..) it's hard to really put them in a modern perspective. So we ask you, oh Debs and Debswatchers:

Who would win in a fight: Batman or Edward Cullen?

ETA: Please no spoilers for Breaking Dawn or The Dark Knight, and we're not talking about literary merit. Just who beats whom in a fair fight, given the powers ascribed them in the canon texts.
